I established Drescott Uniforms in 1987 originally in the old Barker Brothers Dry Cleaning shop in the Adelaide suburb of Warradale. During the year 2000 I moved my business to larger premises in a shopping strip on Oaklands Road, Somerton Park.
As a qualified tailor I originally provided a repair and alteration service to customers which grew to include designing and manufacturing childrens’ school uniforms, designing and tailor-making ladies formal, evening and bridesmaid dresses. With the business continually growing I incorporated mens’ suit hire, corporate uniforms, embroidery and screen-printing and many other services to provide my valued customers with a one-stop-shop for garments and related products.
As a Small Business Award Winner and Finalist over a number of years I truly believe the success of my business has been achieved through providing reliable and excellent tailoring, great customer service, and giving customers what they want at affordable prices.
As an immigrant to Australia and loving this wonderful country and the opportunities it has given me, I am a great believer in giving something back to the Local Community and Charities. I am currently a:
